1. Reservation

Your room is reserved up to 10pm on the arrival date, unless you advise us of late check-in up to noon following your arrival date. You must pay for your reservation at the time of booking, all non-paid rooms (company schedules not cleared) will be released three days prior to arrival.


You cannot transfer or resell your booking (in whole or in part). If you transfer or resell (or attempt to transfer or resell) then we will terminate your booking and retain any money paid to us for such booking. We may also refuse to take any further booking from you in the future.


You may make a booking on someone else's behalf. You are responsible for ensuring that any customer in your booking complies with these terms as if that customer had made the booking. The lead booking name must be supplied at the point of booking.


You can only make a booking if you are 16 years old or over. If you arrive at the hotel and are under 16 years of age you will not be permitted to stay alone.


All reservations will need to be paid for at the point of booking. A valid credit or debit card will be required when booking over the internet. Cash may also be used when booking in person at the hotel’s reception, however a £50 deposit will be required. Personal schedules will not be accepted. All reservations are non-changeable and non-refundable unless the insurance option/payment has been taken at the point of booking.

All Business schedules must arrive at least five working days before the arrival date. If a cheque is received late or it is not accepted by the banks it may not be able to keep the room available.

Reservations can currently be made up to 12 months in advance.

2. Payment

We accept payment by cash, credit/debit card (VISA, Master Card, American Express, Switch/Maestro, Delta, Solo/Electron).


Customers paying with cash are required to provide identification on check-in. Acceptable forms of ID are: current driving licence, ID card, passport, utility bill / bank statement (with address) or police warrant card. A £50 deposit will also be required.

Taking the £1.50 insurance option is highly recommended so that reservations may be changed or cancelled. All bookings are non refundable

3. Room prices

Prices are per room, per night and are inclusive of VAT (17.5% UK, 13.5% ROI). Meals are not included in the room price.

You may pay for breakfast at the same time as paying for your room.
We reserve the right to review room prices from time to time. If you make a reservation more than one month in advance, the quoted room price may change before the date of your stay.

4. Cancellations

Without insurance all cancellations will be charged for one night`s accommodation per room booked.
A cancellation reference will be given and must be retained as proof of cancellation.

If you decide to shorten your stay once checked in at the hotel, you must inform us by 12 noon on the day otherwise you will be charged the cost of one night’s accommodation per room booked. If you wish to amend your date of arrival you must do this 2 days (48 hours) before 9am on your date of arrival.

Bookings made after 1pm on the day of arrival are non-refundable.

5. Arrival and departure

Rooms are available from 2pm on the arrival date.

Please let us know if you are likely to arrive after 11pm.

Your room must be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure. Failure to leave your room by this time will result in additional charges up to and including the cost of one night`s accommodation. A late check out may be requested up to 4pm on last day of your stay. A £15 payment will be required. All late check outs must be requested prior to 12 noon on the last day of your stay.

6. Particular requirements

Family rooms offer accommodation for two adults and up to two children aged 15 and under (and a child under 2 years in a cot), or a maximum of 3 adults. A family room will consist of a Double bed (or 2 x Twins in some rooms) and a double pull out sofa bed.

We can provide cots at no extra charge (subject to availability). Cot linen is not provided.

The layout of a twin room will consist of a double size bed and 1 single beds or 2 single beds. Please contact the hotel directly for more information or availability

Our hotel operates a 100% no smoking policy throughout. Smoking in the bedroom or within the hotel will result in a £50 fine.

We have two disabled access rooms. This consists of a single bed with an adapted en-suite shower room. The 2nd disabled access room has a double bed, also with an adapted en-suite shower room.

Although we will make every possible effort to accommodate your personal requirements, all rooms are subject to availability. We apologise in advance if your particular requests cannot be met.

7. Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the restaurant between 7am and 9am on weekdays and between 8am and 10am at weekends and on Bank Holidays. These hours may vary and at the discretion of the management can be altered to suit large bookings or special events.

8. Please note

We regret that, with the exception of assistance dogs, no pets are allowed.

Electrical appliances, such as mini cookers and portable grills, may not be used in the rooms as they may set off the sensitive fire alarm system.

Reservations for rooms are non-transferable and must not, under any circumstances, be sold or otherwise transferred to a third party who is not a member of your group.

Guests are requested to leave the kitchen in a clean and tidy state as found. Waste food deposited in the bins provided. Otherwise a cleaning charge will be applied.

9. Group booking reservations

A booking of five rooms or more is considered a group booking. If a group of individuals has booked separately e.g. weddings, parties, we reserve the right to enforce Group terms and conditions to those bookings regardless of the booking channel used to book.

10. Confirming group booking

All group bookings are held on option for up to 28 days prior to the arrival date, at which time we have received your signed contract to hold the rooms further; if the booking is for 15 rooms or more, we require a 50% non refundable deposit at this point. A rooming list is required 14 days prior to arrival.

Payment in full is to be received 14 days prior to arrival.

11. ABC Motels expectations of your group

You are responsible for any damage caused to the allocated room/s or the furnishings of the hotel. If any act, default or neglect by the guests or organizers results in damage or complaints from other guests, the customer shall be liable to pay on demand the amount required to make good or remedy such damage.

In the event of willful or negligent interruption to the business or other customers, we will charge the amount of any loss to the Customer and terminate the contract. We will not be liable for any refund or compensation in such circumstances.

The customer / you means the organizing body company and organizer responsible for commissioning and payment of the event.

The contract means the agreement between us and the customer for a specific booking or series of bookings. We reserve the right to cancel the Customer’s reservation without further notice if there is a breach of these Terms and Conditions.

We do not accept liability for any failure to provide services contracted due to circumstances beyond our control including industrial action, postal communication, plant failures, supply of gas, electricity and water or fire alarm evacuation
The details of these Terms and Conditions do not remove the common law duty to mitigate losses.
